The Nahargarh Fort is the first of the three forts built by Maharaja Sawi Jai Singh
II. The fort was constructed mainly in 1734 A.D. However succeeding rulers made
further additions in the 19th century A.D.

Sawai Ram Singh II built a series of interconnected rooms with colorful corridors
and hallways. These rooms are quite modern in their layout and design, as each of

the windows you will discover that care has also been taken to place the apartment

in ruins.
