Albert Hall Museum in Ram Niwas Bagh was built by Sawi Ram singh II in 1868 A.D
as a famine relif project.
Designed by Sir Swinton Jacob, who designed several buildings in Rajasthan, this
is one Jaipur’s most visible and visited monuments. Sir Jacob modeled this on the

This open air observatory is set outside the gateway of the City Palace Complex.
It was built by the astronomer king Sawai Jai Singh II in 1728 and is one of the

by an industrialist.
It is noted for excellent architecture and carvings on white marbles. With in the

Jal Mahal - The Water Palace
Jal Mahal was built by Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799 in the midest of picturesque Man
Sagar Lake and is about 6 km away from Jaipur, on the way to Amber Fort. It is noted
for fine architecture and pleasing surroundings and was the summer Resort of the
erstwhile royal family. The lake attracts migratory birds during the winters.
Galtaji - Temple of Sun God

This temple of the Sun God built by Diwan Kriparam is the most important shrine
of GaltaJi. Like other pilgrims you could also take a holy dip in the Kunds (reservoirs).
It was one of the principal seats of the Ramchand sect of Vaishnavites and is also
associated with sage Galavai, who is belived to have performed penance here.
On the way of Galta Ji Temple, by the Gaht, you will find 'Ki Guni', a range of
hills crowned with the fort of Amargarh.
At the end of the causeway, stands a palace of former Jaipur rulers with the beautiful
Roop Niwas Garden, Kiosks and temples.
Kanak Vally - Temple - Garden
This beautiful temple – garden complex, amidst scenic surroundings is set on Jaipur-
Delhi highway, before Amber fort, near Jal Mahal.
According to historical records, the beautiful green vally as Kanak Vridavan Vally
by Maharaja Sawai Jai singh, almost 280- years ago.
Jaigarh - The Victory Fort
Jaigarh fort is located between Nahargarh and Amber and is typical example of a
military fort. It is strategically located and looks quite formidable. There are
no visible decorative feaures on the outside to make it look attractive.
It stretches 3 km from north to south and 1 km from east to west. It has five high
watchtower, fortified walls and several escape tunnels. The foundation of Jaigarh
was laid by Kakil Deo in 1036 A.D.
The main attraction of the fort is the ‘Jaivan’ canon, which is considered to be
the world’s biggest cannon on wheels. it has a twenty feet long barrel, while the
wheels are nine feet in diameter.
Sisodia Rani Bagh

A visit to Sisodia Rani ka Bagh, which was made for the queen and ladies of the
royalty to rejuvenate, will leave you with a sense of the awe at the affluent lifestyle
of the royals.
It is said that the Sisodia Rani Garden was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh with
an intention to gift the garden to his adorable Sisodia Queen from Udaipur.
Located at a distance of 10 km from Jaipur, on Jaipur Agra Highway, the garden is
a visual Treat.
Jain Temple
Shri Digamber Jain temple is one of the most beautiful temple in Jaipur. The temple,
situated in Sanganer, is the Principal Deity the Lord Adinath (Rishabh Dev), who
was the first tirthankar. It is supposed to be 4000 years old.
The temple has fine carvings as those of the magnificent Delwara temples of Mount
Abu. Built in various phases with sky-high shikharas (spires), the temple represents
an old style of architecture.
